Autumn exhibition ends 30th November
Next week is also the last chance to experience our magical autumn exhibition LOMAHAFTEWA – Looking For Beauty In The Future. The exhibition presents the work of the late Hopi and Choctaw painter Dan Viets Lomahaftewa. The exhibition ends next Wednesday 30th November – highly recommended!
Gifts to treasure
You can find lots of glamorous new jewellery and enchanting Zuni fetish carvings to browse here on the website. More new items are being added to the website daily and our Christmas stock of Pendleton blankets will be here by the end of this month.
Now is the time to treat yourselves and your loved ones to a gift that is beautiful, lasts a life time and will keep you cozy through the coldest winter nights. A word to the wise – Pendleton blankets are still currently available at pre-brexit prices despite the dramatic dive in the £-$ exchange rate. Unfortunately, next year prices will have to go up, so don’t delay.
Stand with Standing Rock
I can’t sign off without mentioning the heroic struggle off the Native American water protectors in North Dakota. For four months thousands of people from hundreds of tribes have gathered at Standing Rock Indian reservation to protect the Missouri River from contamination by the Dakota access pipeline. The river provides drinking water for millions of people. Find out more here: www.sacredstonecamp.org/
