SUMMER BLUES 2021
Continuing with our theme of seasonal colours, the 2021 summer exhibition is inspired by the colour blue. It brings together photography, fine art prints and paintings by thirteen Indigenous artist from fourteen tribal Nations, including George Alexander (Muscogee), Marla Allison (Laguna Pueblo), Shonto Begay (Diné), Jordan Ann Craig (Northern Cheyenne), Yatika Starr Fields (Osage, Cherokee, Creek), Billy Hensley (Chickasaw), Monty Little (Diné), Dan V Lomahaftewa (Hopi& Choctaw), Chris Pappan (Osage, Kanza, Lakota), Debra Yepa-Pappan (Jemez Pueblo & Korean), Cara Romero Chemehuevi), Tony Tiger ( Mucogee, Seminole, Sac & Fox) and Jason Wesaw (Potawatomi). Artworks span twilight skies, vibrant regalia, contemporary portraiture and cool abstract pattern.
